The professional title "Rechtsanwalt" was awarded to the members of the Partnership Company Dr. Harten & Partner on the basis of the legal standards of the Federal Republic of Germany, after they had passed the 2nd State Examination in Law and a special admission procedure. Admission was initially granted by the Senator of the Department of Justice of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Since 08/09/1998 the Hanseatic Chamber of Lawyers in Hamburg has been responsible for admission to the practice of law.
